Hello,

I am new to the forum. I was under a lot of stress because I was not getting my NOA for a while. I started reading the forum and I could finally take a deep breath. I knew that I JUST need to be patient. To help others with their " anxiety" , here is my timeline:

'*** I-751 by UPS

* sent-  November 23rd

* received -November 25th

* checks cashed- January 15th

* NOA- waiting...

Should be any day now. Don't worry. USPS is slow, CIS is slow..

Yup... They said it was because the payment was rejected so they were sending our entire file back.

I spoke with the bank who confirmed that we had the money in the bank, that they did not decline the charge, and that the charge was never attempted.

The lady from the lock box stated that even if it is USCIS' error, we still have to refile.

I printed out her email, the payment form that I submitted, and a letter from my bank stating our account balance and that there was no charge attempted from USCIS.

I requested that they allow our late submission since now it will be after the filing date. We also have a call back from tier two that we are waiting on where I will request an expedite of the processing due to USCIS error.

We sent our package off today.

Happened to our K1 in 2017...they will charge you 30 dollars or so for that as well..

Anyone else on this thread have their gc expires soon and still haven't recieved anything back? I'm just being extremely inpatient i know. In 6 days it will be a month since it was delivered. So im still in the time frame for waiting. My card expires this Friday.

Yes, I was nervous too. I waited 7 weeks to receive mine. After 30 days I contacted the lockbox and they never got back to me. I kept worrying that the package was lost or could get rejected. It is hard but try to focus on other things.

I’m traveling next week abroad for 10 days, I still haven’t had the biometrics letter. I did the biometrics for my AOS so they’ll probably reuse that, but a part of me is nervous that mine wouldn’t be waived! Also a part of me is a bit nervous about using an expired GC with the extension letter I797! Wish me luck haha. It’s all going to ok, I know. You just can’t help not be nervous in these new situations.

True struggles indeed

it will all be fine. You might get thrown to secondary on ur way back in but that’s just wasting time, if nothing else

safe travels y’all!
