Hello

My wife's expedited interview is coming this week. She already did the medical. But I heard something about her needing (me, lol) to pay another fee for the embassy/visa or greencard? I am lost.

How much, where? Please help.

Also, about registering to have her visa delivered?

Thank You

$220 immigrant fee, to produce the physical green card.  You pay this to USCIS after getting the visa -- https://my.uscis.gov/uscis-immigrant-fee/enter-data

So my wife just told me she was approved for her visa in Manila. They said her passport will be returned in 2-4 weeks. She is an IR visa.

I am curious, where, where, and how much will we have to pay for her greencard?

The Embassy had my old address on file, even though I updated it with NVC months ago.

Will the greencard and social security card automatically be mailed to our home?

Use the link below to pay the $220 fee. Pay  either before entering the US or after entering. Most people pay before entering the US. The plastic Green Card will not be produced until both the fee has been paid and the new immigrant has entered the US.  If the new immigrant marked the box for receiving a SS card on the DS-260, then both the Green Card and SS card should be mailed to the new immigrant automatically.

Ok, I have read up some but a few questions.

My wife should get the visa delivered in 2-4 weeks. I was told the visa would come with instructions to pay the greencard fee online, is this correct?

Also, the online form has a space to put in the address that the card is to be delivered to, is this correct? (NVC did not update the mailing with Embassy)

Does the greencard automatically have a social security card sent with it?

Yes, if you selected the option while filling your DS-260 form.

That was over 2 1/2 years ago. I cannot remember if I did or not. But when we pay for the greencard fee it gives an address to send it?
