If you are referring to PP10014, then note that a select few niche cases meet an exception. 17 F2A (FX1/F21) visas were issued worldwide in August: https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Statistics/Immigrant-Statistics/MonthlyIVIssuances/AUGUST 2020 - IV Issuances by Post and Visa Class.pdf

But for nationals of Nigeria, there is the extra step of PP9983 waiver: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/presidential-proclamation-archive/presidential-proclamation9645.html

Have heard from various sources that Lagos is open and NVC scheduling interviews for those who got DQ March and April. These aren't reschedules, but NVC sending out Interview letters. So looks like things are moving.

Hi, where are your sources indicating interviews are occurring?

Hmmmm. Okay. I hadn’t seen any for Nigeria specifically on here, which is why I was asking. Well hopefully, that means we will be on the docket soon.

U mean I should call for F-2A reschedule? Or ?

In your post you said your scheduled interview was canceled and I am saying that you should contact them about rescheduling your appointment. They are open and things are happening so it's best you reach out to them and not wait for them to contact you. Keep calling until you get someone on the phone. Good luck.

Thank u for this. I am going to call them on Monday to know if I can be rescheduled for another appointment since it is F-2A. Been waiting like forever. Wil definitely call them on Monday instead of waiting for their call or text, thank u a lot, God bless u.
