I went through a little more than half of October on Friday using the case tracker app. Although some folks here mentioned that it's being reported that there are now some October approvals, it didn't look like there was any movement into October last week. Curiously, it seems there were a few October approvals around February 25th.

It looks like there were a couple of late September approvals on the 22nd of April that had WAC numbers in the 21 fiscal year. This means they started with WAC219 instead of WAC209 which is good.

Quick question about the app.How do approvals appear on the app? I mean how do you recognize an approval on the app?

It scans through a range of applications and tells you the current status of every application and the date that status was updated. An approval shows up as green and says Case Was Approved, NOA1 shows up as Case Was Received.

Come peek at us in the September thread. I'm doing a spreadsheet of approvals and RFEs (Based on searching CaseTracker every couple days in brackets of 500 to find examples) so people can see how things are going. Because I really want to know when it is time for me... You can watch as we see progress and as end of September starts happening then october will be soon.

 

I'd be happy to teach a couple October people how to do the same thing, all you need is an iPhone and a Gmail account for access to Google Sheets.

that sounds like a great offer, thanks! i understand the calculations, but i'm curious how you're pulling the data from Case Tracker? like is there a way to export from the app to a spreadsheet?

I WISH.

No, there isn't. I run a search for 500 cases on casetracker, then I wait for it to process the search, then use the graph to find the numbers just for the I-129Fs, then I hand enter the answers. It takes me an hour every time I do it, but it's worth it. If someone could write an app for PC or Mac, or a web app, to do the same searching and export a .csv, it would be a lifechanger.

There is an export function to email and that could be put in excel to be sorted. It’s the symbol in the top right corner.

so I ran the searches by 500 and did the export to email method (which sends every line item), and it took a very long time to consolidate the data lol. for the most part, there's still little to no movement for our month, but hopefully that changes within the next week or two!

 

my fiancé is actually trying to see if he can help make the data collection process more efficient by working some programming magic for me, so then I'd be able to update these every weekend easily. fingers crossed!
