According to this looks like I should just wait for an update from NVC as they are still creating application cases for 19th. Any other thoughts or advise at this stage!?

I write about this in the PDF from the first page of this thread where I point out that it can take 4-6 weeks before receipt and case number is assigned. You're looking at somewhere in November before you'll hear anything. I have head of one exception to this where someone received theirs within 3 weeks, but that is one person. Your results may not be the same as theirs.

After you get your case number from NVC it would be a promising idea if you were to connect with the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in Colombia and they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa from their personal experience. Link:

Get the US Embassy Colombian K-1 Packet 3 (P3) at  https://drive.google.com/file/d/16Oeg4xYRja1hqUSzF-uEaj1QiyoFnv9X/view?usp=sharing as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the P3 as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents, you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it is not needed.

 

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

Ppl doing their vaccinations in Columbia can do them with anyone not connected to the approved medical center where your exam will take place saving you a lot of money. Be sure to get a receipt that states every single vaccination that you received. See list below that are required vaccinations. Then during your medical present, the receipt for the vaccinations to the Doctor and ask that they be transposed to the DS-3025 and marked COMPLETE! Especially important that they are marked complete. You will use this document once you are married and filing your AOS package.

If you find anything not up to date or the information is wrong, please share your findings. Please compare the date of the P3 of mine with the date from your copy once you receive yours from your embassy. Keep in mind that I try and be factual with my information, but I can't do it on my own and that's where you come in and can give back to the community those who come behind you. Without others ahead of you I would not be able to provide this to you.  I can only share information if folks like you continue to be my eyes and ears for your embassy. It would be helpful to you and us if you were to complete your profile. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

I have a Nicaraguan friend who was approved on October 23, his case is not yet in the NVC but he will call next Monday, because he wrote to uscis and they told him that his case was sent to the nvc on the 27th. My question is, is the nvc still sending the cases to the embassy every other week, on Tuesdays? The Nicaraguan embassy is open, perhaps because of the covid they no longer have dates to send @Greenbaum

Cases are being sent to those embassies who are processing K1's and who ask that they be sent. I don't know if Nicaragua is asking for their cases to be sent. Look on their website as to their status. Not enough people are having their case being sent so I can't answer your last question.
