It's been a long time since I visited the thread....My hubby's extension letter is set to expire this month. So fed up with this process. Will probably call them next week if we can make an info pass for the passport stamp. Our USCIS office is a few hours away and is a huge hassle to get to. All I want for Xmas is for them to approve and send the 10-yr card!!! 😭 sigh

At the automated prompt say "info pass" or "change interview date". Customer service is very nice, but remember they are first tier and will only assign you a ticket number. They say someone will reach out to you in 30 days. Unless you are seeking a stamp in your passport they will just give you a canned answer about delay.

There is not one particular person attached to your case. If your case is waiting for something internally or externally, then its just in the queue.

You can talk to customer service, but they will answer whatever is on your online status or website. If you are able to get a tier 2 officer, he will have more access & information, but there is no way that he himself will be working on your case.

Call center employee do not work on field office. Tier 2 officers may also not be in field office.

After filing in October 2020, my wife finally recieved an update on her case.  A new card is being produced!  We were originally a Cr1 case and our service center was msc and got transferred to California.  We were on the "ready to be scheduled for an interview" message since August of last year.  Glad it's almost over!

No interview?

That is great news! Our story is very similar to yours. YSC as well, we got the stamp on Dec 15th and extension expired on January 2nd so hopefully they get around to us soon.

Nope. Did not want to spend anymore money until this process was complete. Going to wait 6 months or so before applying. I need a break from dealing with USCIS.
