Hi,

I'll have the interview on Oct 13 (about 23 days left) in Boston, MA.

I remember there are questions that are specific to Massachusetts (like the names of Senators and etc).

As it's election time these days (?), I'd like to find out if any info will change before my interview schedule date.

Thanks

The election is in November not October, so why would things change? You just need to give the names of president/vice president/senators... who are in office the day of your interview.

Got it. So all senators, house representatives will change in Nov.

Thanks

You answer with the people who are in office at the TIME of YOUR interview. Unless you know how to predict the future.

Yes, I know that.

Just wanted to find out if there was any scheduled election for senators and house for MA in this month or next.

Look it up online. I am not from MA so I don't know. There are not elections for all at the same time. It depends on the state. Best option is to google the name for the representatives and senators for your state. It should tell you who they are, when they came to office and when their terms end./ But again, if your interview is in October and elections are in November it means the current ones will still be 100% in office in October. Bottom line is, those questions are as the date of your interview.

"There are not elections for all at the same time". Yep, now I'm studying :)

I think I would say 9 and one is vacant at the moment

Current answer is 8. At your interview it might be 8 or 9.

Note that Election winners aren't inaugurated immediately. There's usually a set date when the Election winner will be inaugurated into office. For example, the President is inaugurated in January (more than 2 months after the election).

They'll eventually update SCOTUS answer to 8 to reflect Justice Ginsburg's death. That page currently reflects the answers as of "08/26/2020"

But it's a Civics question, not a current events question.  The Supreme Court is set at 9 members, no matter how many are actually sitting.  Answer is "9".

Nope. That link explicitly says: "On the naturalization test, some answers may change because of elections or appointments." Answers to questions 20, 23, 28, 29, 39, 40, 43, 46 and 47 are subject to change.

Yep, I agree. One is vacant at the moment, but it is set to 9 by the constitution in my opinion.
