Take anything that you submitted through the online / postal application. I also brought the latest eg, I submitted tax transcripts for previous 5 years with my application back in March 2020 (tax years 2014-2019) and I brought them with me then in addition, I brought the latest tax transcript for tax year 2020. The officer actually asked me about last year’s taxes and took a copy of the transcript.

Optional if you have done any travel; mark up the pages within your passport with colored tabs. It made life easier for me when we reviewed my travel history and I could go straight to the page. I also had my travel history printed in an excel page.

You can really go over the top with documents but the officer did say it made her interview easier.

Thank you so much!

Thank you! Indeed the fact NJ is moving along is positive for everyone.

I read about the  fingerprints, I hope this will get resolved in a timely manner! May you also have a smooth process here on out, god bless.

Not necessarily, my wife got her fingerprints done and her interview is 3 weeks later.

Hello,

The notice uploaded on my online account and sent on July 7 for an August 13 interview. My brother got his notice on July 15 for an August 21 interview. So it's usually about 4-5 weeks out. Our field office is Washington DC.

Thank you! I have a trip planned from August 16th till August 23. Didn't get a notice yet but noticed that estimated time until the case is decided decreased from 10 months to 6. Anyway, it looks like I should be fine. Thanks again

Hello,

I recently moved to a new house (and have interview scheduled later this week). I wanted to change an address on N400 through USCIS Online Account but I do not see that option? Also, when I try to do it through online form AR-11 I am getting error stating that it doesn't match their records... Did anyone had issue like that before?

Options in USCIS Portal:

Hi Everyone!

Appointment Friday @ 2:15 Santa Ana CA.

Arrived early, and a lady gave me a handwritten ticket number on my appointment notice told me to seat in the lobby in front of the TV.

Then they turned the TV on and started calling people to the windows by their ticket numbers, I was hearing people being tested for civic and English, mostly done in 5-10 minutes!!!

Suddenly the same lady came into the lobby and told everyone to go to second floor, even if they were not tested!

Second floor (some people were already there and waiting) a man got all appointment notices at the front desk and stacked them on his desk. Then officers came one by one and started calling people based on their positing in the line.

To me it looked like each officer was seeing the applicant/application or their notice for the first time as they had difficulty pronouncing some of the names!

Finally,

I went in and the  officer told me to stay in room and he will interview me via the ipad camera while he is in other room.

Pretty simple testing, only he did writing first, reading and then civic.

For all my docs (green card, appointment notice, passport, ID) he asked me to hold them in front of ipad camera so he could take pictures.

Finally he asked questions about my application, my DOB, how I got my green card, and tax returns and ... Pretty straightforward except the questions regarding my green card.

The whole interview took 20-25 minutes (Including tests).

Then he came back gave me a paper said congratulation, and I should be receiving the oath ceremony letter in the next 2-3 weeks (30days).
