Hey, yeah could be. Did they say to bring your spouse? It would be a good idea from what I've heard

Got a notification from USCIS that they were going to schedule our interview within six months (est. Sep 2021) last Tuesday the 5th. That same week on Thursday we got another letter saying they were reusing our biometrics. Then yesterday the 13th we received our interview notice for February the 25th in Alabama (we’re two hours away from Bama office and 40 minutes away from our Atlanta field office that sent the letter, but no one’s complaining 🙂; could have sent us to Iowa if it speeds up the process at this point). Just happy the finish line is quickly approaching for everything!!!

I'm considering a 30 day out-of-country trip in February.

Filed on September 29 and Got biometric re-use on Dec 11. No update since estimated completion date is July 2021. I live in charlotte.

The ticket will be flexible so If interview is scheduled prior to trip I can postpone trip.

If I do take trip, When they give an interview date are they at least 30 days prior? Corona makes it complicated as there may be 10 day stay-at-home period.

Should I simply wait for this process to be complete? Any advice is appreciated.thanks.

Yesterday, I had my oath taking ceremony at the USCIS Jacksonville local office in a covered garage area. Lol 😂 Sorry, I can’t help but share my experience to you guys. Not complaining here though. I was so surprised that we had our oath taking in a covered garage, uncovered windows (it was cold). My husband described it as a bunker. Lol. Anyways, I can understand due to COVID.

The oath ceremony was fairly quick. From the scheduled time to finish, only lasted about 20 minutes. Definitely, it was a day to remember. Finally, I am a US Citizen and no more immigration.

Congrats!.

Congratulations!! I am happy for you. After the interview did they schedule your appointment for oath ceremony at the field office or they sent the letter in the mail? Just curious 🤔

Hello! I can give you tips from my experience. I had my interview on December 15. I know 100 questions is quite a lot. What I did, I printed out the 100 questions. For me, it’s easier and handy. I can read it anytime and anywhere. Then, I read the whole questions from 1-100. So I know what to expect. And, I studied almost everyday reading and memorizing the 100 questions. Then time to time I asked my husband to ask me questions when I’m comfortable enough. Lastly, there is a practice test on the USCIS website that will help you as well.

Good luck! 👍🏼

Thanks a lot for your tips. Some questions have many answers. I am confused that Do we have to memorize all the answers or just one is enough?
