Maybe your case had issues. In 2018, my wife got her green card in 2 weeks. My wife's paperwork journey from VN to USA has been much faster than others. It is case by case.

We did not have an issue. You can look at the cases in 2017 in visa journey. All of us waited at least 1.5 years to get the green card in the USA. Not only us. Yet, most of us praying to wait 2 years so we can get 10 years GC instead of 2.

For example, as you see some fillers got their green card in 76 days. Is this because you have a problem? Do We have a problem? No. Some people get lucky.

Also most Aslyum seekers already got their Green cards in 2 years.

At that time I spoke the secretary of Obdusman in Tennessee. She told me less people assigned to these marriage visa cases and thats why it is taking time. You cant get clear info even you speak with tier 2 but Obdusman can get more clear information. Thats what she said in 2017.

Looking other users and most people wait 26 PLUS months to get their 10 year Green Card. Wow!

So looks like most of us ( one of my friend also) applied to N400 when the time is up to speed the process right? 2021 July we can apply N400. I have seen most people applied for that while 10 year GC still pending..

Seems like the cases that started at the Texas center are the ones being transferred to NBC and flying through!

I think ill be applying for N-400 after ny 3yrs of residency anyway, so I think that'll come in before my 10yr GC anyway.

Seriously, I can't believe some 2020 filers from TX are already approved!! T__T

For anyone curious: I heard back from Senator Kamala Harris's office yesterday. They forwarded me USCIS's response. It basically said, "We got this constituent's I-751 and no biometrics appointment has been scheduled yet. Due to the ongoing pandemic, we cannot confirm or estimate when the appointment will be scheduled and that's not our department anyway." Sooo, on one hand, it's good to get confirmation that nothing's been scheduled for me because that means I haven't accidentally missed anything. But on the other hand, this means more waiting.
