I doubt Byron will wait a month to return the requested evidence. in fact he might just drive it to them personally!! but seriously, don't let this whoop your @ss, Byron. You've come so far and an RFE is so much better than not knowing or a denial.

Mel and Syl, I'm sorry. I just noticed that my first sentence could possibly be misunderstood. i was in no way assuming that you waited a month by choice. I'm sure there was no way around that. I was just making a little joke about how fast Byron would correct this issue...

Thanks everybody....i am staying strong because at least i have an idea as to what is going on now....Mirla i have no clue whta they are asking for....the worst part is that my lawyer SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My NOA1 sat on her desk for almost 2 months before i knew about it....so i have to stay on top of her sloppy a$$.......I just got off the phone with uscis again and they said i have to wait 15 days after my RFE date which was the 18th of this month and if i didnt recieve it i can call and request a change of address and receive it myself...soch that pretty much answers the who gets the RFE letter....unfortunately the lawyer does!!!!!!!!!!

Ill be back a little later....im trying to sta positive and BUSY!!!!!!!!!!!

####### is a service enquiry??? Pat just called using the RFE trick and explained our situation that we've been waiting and the fuckin lady told him that they don't know anything about the case, that we have to wait and that she will fill a service enquiry???

It just means they are $**^& idiots. She obviously didn't know what she was talking about (shocker). Don't let it throw you.

Can I just say that I flew in from England last night and I took one look at the U.S. Immigration people and it took everything in my power not to start ranting. I know they have absolutely NOTHING to do with my process, but it didn't matter. I realized I just hate all of them for being associated with it. Actually, it was quite funny. They asked me if I was in England for business or pleasure and I told them it was none of their business. HELLO-I LIVE HERE!

I called today as well..was told they are STILL working May 21 week. (STILL???) Byrons situation corosponds with that. But the news wasn't encouraging. She said to give mine 30 more days (thats what they said 2-3 weeks ago) and that all this work could go past the 6-7 month mark. Just wanted to stop in and let you all know what I was told.

Exactly, welcome back Byron! Sorry you were welcomed back by USCIS in this manner, but at least you know they are working yours and when you drive up the additional evidence and smash your way in through the guards you should get the stamp of approval right then and there. In all seriousness, good luck in being able to get them the necessary info ASAP and get this step behind you. I'm interested in seeing what the RFE indicates they need from you. Take care and I'm sure you will be on top of who ever gets the mail at your lawyers office...give them the VFR direct line to you when they get it.

BS is what it is. Something is not right about your case given your dates and knowing what dates they are working. I would be calling them every hour until you get the straight story. Good luck! I can only imagine...service inquiry = hmm, now where did we misplace that file?

I JUST CALLED AGAIN USING THE RFE AND NO INFO ON MY CASE OTHER THAN IT WAS RECIEVED. THE WOMAN WAS POLITE AND HELPFUL AND SAID THE SAME THING ABOUT 6 MONTHS. I HOPE MY LAWYER SENT IN ENOUGH EVIDENCE. I GAVE HIM SO MUCH BUT HE ONLY USED A FEW THINGS.

Sorry about the RFE Byron. Not only is the long wait a killer but waiting all this time and getting an RFE is ridiculous.

The sad thing about an RFE is that anyone can get one at anytime for anything.

Byron, did they send anything to you by email? Did you get any touches before you called?
