I am a citizen and Dubai 1-2 years and Malaysia 6 months.

She was issued her Visa in Feb 2020 and is in the US now. InshAllah your husband will get it too. Do ask him to attend the interview. Did your friend had travel history? I’m assuming that was female applicant.

From readings, make with travel history gets DS 5535 

 

I have yet to find any woman who got that questioner with only 3 days outside of Pakistan for couples quality time. So far it’s my wife -:(

My husband doesnt have any travel history but wants to go to Dubai since hes tired of waiting for Us visa. Guess its not a good option than ? @jamesbond123

Yes, she did have an extensive travel history. She had also been to Iraq/Iran multiple times. They specifically asked her if she had been to Iraq, Iran or Syria.

that explains the ds5535 and AP wait. I am surprised it took 1 yr for these types of country.
