Please how long after your biometrics did you receive you EAD? Please I got mine on November 24th and still waiting 😭

1 month but it was approved 2 weeks after bio

Just finished my biometrics appointment (Brooklyn ASC). The receptionist was rude af to everyone and it was barely 10AM.

Update: Send off my wife's RFE for I-944 yesterday and this time I made sure we had everything, so hopefully we will get the approval in January and get an interview date.

First time posting.  My wife receive her biometrics appointment  letter today for the Alexandria Field office for early January.   The sad thing we changed our address from the DC area to Idaho and have the email confirmation.  Yet the letter still went to the old address.  I'm happy the letter was actually forwarded as the online status hasn't been updated since the case was received. 

 

For those that want to know her priority date is July 22nd.

Got scheduled for biometrics and had to show up on 12/24/2020 but all USCIS offices will be closed due to the federal holiday. Am I supposed to receive a letter noting the cancellation of my previous appointment any time before the 24th? How does this whole thing work?

Hello I was wondering which interview they are referring to bring the I-693? Is it the biometrics or the final AOS interview?

It’s the AOS interview. They don’t do interview for biometrics I received the same letter.

For those that want to know her priority date is July 22nd.  

I'd suggest try going to your nearby ASC before you actual date and see if they will allow you to take you bio there. It doesn't hurt to try.

Good morning all, i had my interview yesterday for AOS.

 

Came in actually 40 minutes before the schedule time of the interview , i asked the officer at the entrance if my baby could come in with the stroller, he was really nice and offered us to wait inside even though we arrived earlier. You must bring your appointment letter with you in

order to go inside. First you go through security , then you check at a window they requested my work permit , id and the appointment letter again, second room they check again your ticket number gave by the first person and your letter, made me put both index fingers i guess it was to verify it was really me. 20 minutes after the appointment time we were called by an officer ( nice guy ) . He did our interview pretty straight forward , he went through the info on the 485 , most of the questions were verifying my personal information ( dob , city of birth , previous marriages and so on) asked me about my job, how much i make a year, how long we've been married, a copy of our daughter birth cert ( the actual only paper requested by him ) , asked us too if we lived together before our marriage , addresses of our current and old place, overall it was really smooth and at the end he approved us on the spot and told us the green card should arrived within a week and half or so. ( also my parole arrived yesterday). So be confident at your interview!

we were  in and out of the office in 2 hours, also i think we overdressed a bit. I wore a suit with no tie but most of the people were casual. 
 

any ways it has been a journey with up and downs,  i know sometimes really stressful but hang in there. 
 

total time from the AOS was sent to the interview was 5 months, we had a previous i130 approved for consular processing ( from 2019 )
