The NVC letter also has our NVC case number with instructions for logging into our account.
Not much for additional relationship proof to submit, especially since my flights to see my husband in India had to be rescheduled for later this year.

I feel so guilty that we were approved this fast, it’s so unfair for those that have been waiting for months or over a year. Feels wrong to not have to put our waiting time in like majority have to🥺.

We filed online January 21st. The date changed on February 3rd, I heard that some cases got transferred so I got ahold of USCIS and asked where our case currently was, that’s when found out it went to Texas, never got anything in the mail about it being transferred. Then the date changed to March 23rd I think and then April 8th and on April 28th. I had just told my husband that it seemed weird it was being “touched” so much for only submitting case at end of January. He said, watch, because we are totally not prepared for NVC we’ll be one of those odd balls that get approved fast.
Around 530pm tonight we both got the welcome email from NVC which has our new NVC case number and some other number. That’s when I checked USCIS and saw out case was closed and the approval notice that’s being mailed.
I honestly wish it was someone else that has been waiting for long time that got approved instead of us, it’s so unfair to approve us when others have been waiting for so long!

I do find it strange... The timelines are all over the place!

So when these dates change does it mean much or that it has been transferred?

And does it show on the online account were it is?

It means someone has “touched” or looked at your case.

Congratulations! Another one of the late Jan/Early Feb was also approved soon, and they were at Nebraska so I do think there's been more approvals happening in general for those filing this year. I'm awaiting for mine as it's in a similar date range 🤞 Congrats again!

It was on the welcome email we got from NVC. We didn’t know our case was even approved, it was the NVC email with our case and invoice number that we found out we were approved at USCIS. We were able to log in immediately cuz they had our case in their system already and pay. Our fees were marked paid yesterday so starting the forms today. I sure hope your case moves this fast too!!!
