What’s next?
‘1 - worse than today. 2 - much worse than today. 3 - hard to predict. that’s why we need to take this seriously now.’

That’s how Joshua Sharfstein, a former top FDA official and current Johns Hopkins professor, answered this question during an “Ask Me Anything” session on Reddit Monday: “Can you describe how you see the world situation: 1 — In one week? 2 — In one month?3 — In one year?”

There were many more questions, of course, as the country, and in this case, the internet, continues to thirst for information in the face of the coronavirus pandemic.

Just a normal human being who can see thru all the BS.  You should probably bookmark this post, and we can revisit it in May.

Well see, that's the thing. You really can't use BS to cut through BS. Even more painful is watching someone trying to use BS to cut through facts. It's easy to see.

Truth is, you don't have the slightest idea how long this will last. You really don't. Neither do I. Neither does the good doctor really. However his best guess backed by years of work in the field and training are far superior to your best guess backed by nothing.

I say all that really hoping that you are right, but nothing right now is pointing to that being the case.

Yes, I'm good. It might have been the flu or a cold, who knows. Everyone is working from home home now though. Not enjoying the house arrest but it's the least bad thing to have to go through right now.

That's good man. I was sick last week as well with a fever, cough, and the snivels. I went in to work on Wednesday and promptly was told by my coworkers and boss to GTF home. So I went home and didn't go back to work until Friday. Even now my coworkers won't go near me due to the occasional lite cough

Thanks, great to hear!!   Sick is sick, cold or CV or flu.  Glad you are feeling better.  Not to be a downer, but several who have CV feel better for a bit, then get worse, so hang in there.  Hope you are done with it altogether.

Take care of yourself and your family.  Have you had a test?

Come on man, you know better.  I KNOW you do. China is nearly over it, and they started in November.  We are two months behind, and have MUCH less population density.  Logic says it won't be nearly as bad here.  No, I'm not a doctor, but I'm pretty damn smart, and have had a pretty successful life looking outside the box.  I, too, hope I am right.  If not, I will apologize in a month or two.  But for now... positive thoughts, my friend.
