visiting BF or GF on b2

I am curious, What are the experiences of other people here in regards to visitors with a b2 visa entering just to visit a bf or gf?  While it is not against the rules of a b2 visa it could be seen as a possible reason to stay. And since according to the law a visitor is assumed to have intent to stay when entering and must overcome that assumption is it considered a "mark against them" if they are coming for just that reason?
If you the reader has entered under these circumstances, or know someone that has, and have direct experience with this I am very curious what was your experience.

Yes, visiting a bf or gf will have an impact.....but bottom line is that the potential visitor must provide evidence of strong ties to his/her country both at the interview as well as at the border.  There have been successful applicants as well as unsuccessful applicants at both places of scrutiny.......

It depends on a lot.

For example....

What is the country they are from?

Is it a male or female? How old are they?

Do they have a good job/stable income?

Do they own property?

How long are they planning on staying?

Have they traveled to any other countries?

Any combination of any answer to the questions above could play a role. You see how difficult it is to predict?

I visited many times, and I know I am not alone in so doing.

with the sole intent of visiting gf Boiler?  did you say that when you entered?

and yes, i suspect there have been several here that have. I am curious if you, or them ever had an issue entering because of it? (secondary screenings, denials, ect)

Understood.

But you will also get a range anywhere in between "It was a breeze" to "I got denied x amount of times".

your probably correct. Im sure there are pro's and cons each way. Besides my curiosity, I posted this question in hopes that some could learn from the mistakes or experiences of others.

Hundreds of thousands must enter for this very purpose ever year And subsequently leave.

Plenty past experiences on the forum, many get visas/allowed in, many not (esta) or denied visas, some allowed in a few times and then not any more, etc. it is all down to your own situation and the ties you personally can show to your home country.

I never had any issues traveling just to visit a sighing other. Many people enter solely for this purpose from all over regularly.

Got rejected 3 times for tourist visa for trying to visit gf. Now not even sure if that will impact our K1.

In themselves, denied B2 applications will not impact a K-1.

I did it and had no issues....visited 3 times on B2 visa (twice with my kids for Christmas). Each time the officer asked me my purpose for visiting, each time I was honest....visiting my fiancé for the holidays for 2wks since my vacation time was limited.

They would be amazed at the endurance of being in a long distance relationship and wish me luck saying they couldn't stand the thought of being away from the ones they love for so long.

Everyone's experience is different but I simply shared mine to show that COs aren't all bad :)
