Yes. Waiting for my extension letter now. Your timeline sounds terrible to me but at least I know what to expect.

😄yes pretty terrible to wait that long. But it's really common now and some people are waiting even longer than that. I quoted someone who filed in june 2018 and still waiting. And a lot of applicants who also filed the N400 while their i751 is pending have been waiting 3 to 4 years for a combo interview, specially in Seattle WA where people get stuck with combo filings.

Don't  worry, after you receive your extension, you'll forget about your application and move on with your life until when some applicants who filed the same month and year than you start telling you that they've been approved. Then you'll start checking again.

That combo interview timeline sounds like a nightmare! It looks like Santa Ana is not that bad but not good either. It's kind of funny that the California service center is right next door, here in Orange County, but I doubt they will give me any special treatment for being their neighbor. :)

Hello!

Today, my Case Status says that they just sent me a Request for Additional Evidence for my receipt number WAC199006XXXX. We should be receiving it in a few days. I’m in shock. We initially sent a lot of solid evidence (I listed part of the evidence on the Nov 2018 I-751 discussion). We feel clueless. Has anyone received any RFE? I am actually pretty sad about this. I was not expecting this at all.

They originally received our application on November, 2018. I did the biometrics on May, 2019.

Thank you  and I hope you all have a good night!

Nothing to worry about, it's very common. It's been well over a year since you filed so they want evidence that shows you are still living together and co-mingling your finances. A lot can happen in a year, you guys could have been divorced by now for all USCIS knows.

Hello,

Thank you for your prompt response :)Hopefully, it is just that. I just don’t understand why some people get approved  without further verification then?

We will just have to wait for the notice, and I will keep you guys updated. Do you know if RFE notices are available online?

Many thanks again and have a good night!

It's all up to the person your application end up with. Some are more picky than others.

No for i-751 you can't find RFE notices online, you have to wait for the letter. But almost always when it comes to the i-751 application, the RFE is asking for more evidence. It's usually nothing else, just that. So you can start collecting evidence before getting the actual letter.

No I have a long wait still before I hear anything about RFE or approval. I only filed in April 2019, so it hasn't even been a year yet. In April this year I will be eligible to file for citizenship but I haven't yet decided if I will do that or wait until later.

Good evening to you too.
