I have to file mine next month. Just wondering for the joint bank account statement do I need to print out every months since we joint opened the bank account or the latest month is enough?

I included the first statement after opening the account and statements for the past 6 months.

I just sent the print out of the screen showing both our names and the address on it. It had one month’s statement on it. We’ve had a joint account since before we were married. We didn’t get an RFE so they obviously thought it was enough. Just make sure there’s enough different sources of proof of joint finances such as shared bills, loans and mortgage or rent. The combination should be enough.

ROC Timeline

3/30/2020: Package sent to Dallas, TX by USPS.

4/2/2020: Package delivered to Dallas, TX by USPS.

4/8/2020: Text message received from USCIS stating official receipt notice to follow in mail and providing a receipt number starting with YSC.

4/9/2020: Check for $680 cashed by USCIS.

4/13/2020: NOA I-797 received providing an 18-month extension.

We submitted with a printout of the USCIS page showing the form is expired and mentioned in the cover page that the form available on their website had expired but was the only one available. I am sorry to read some people are experiencing rejections because of the form being expired.

Is the 18-month extension typical or is it longer now because of the COVID19 situation?

18 months is typical even before COVID

Our check was cashed on 4/6 but we still havent received extension letter in the mail. how long would you wait to call and see? it seems like a lot of people have gotten their letter just a few days after the check was cashed... (ps we sent to dallas)

I ended up calling today and we were given our receipt number and an email to call and request another notice to be sent. the representative said that they send out the notice when they cash the check so since we haven't received anything in about 15 days she shared an email address. our receipt number starts with MSC :)

You did the right thing by calling. I would have too in your situation. Just curious - what was the hold time like to speak to a representative?

Car Insurance can be used as proof of cohabitation.

Title can be used to show Joint Property.

So, you can include both in your documentation.

We just showed in our insurance documents that we were both insured drivers on each other's cars.

I had forgotten how much I genuinely enjoy putting USCIS packages together.
