Hi Everyone.

 

Hope someone can explain.  I received DQ email 12/19/19 for F3 visa Trinidad and Tobago.

 

I called NVC last friday because I have not received IL as yet and was told my case is complete, there is a visa available for me and I have to await scheduling of interview (which I knew).

 

I emailed the embassy in Trinidad and Tobago this morning to enquire when scheduling of the interview was likely and I surprisingly got a reply within an hour stating that the embassy had not yet received my immigrant visa petition and so could not assist.

 

How long does it usually take for NVC to get scheduling slots from the embassy so that the file can then be forwarded?

Registering it has nothing to do with it. you need to print your interview letter and go to medical and bring that letter with conformation page of DS-260 to interview.

You are a spousal petition there is no package 3 and 4. You got all you going to get for your interview.

Hi!! First of all, I emailed their help desk and they got the appointment fixed online for me. So that's set 

 

No packet 3? I didn't think so! Thank youuuuuu

Has anyone here changed embassy after DQ? The wait in Canada is currently ~5 months for an interview so I'm sort of toying with the idea of switching to the Sydney embassy (I'm a dual citizen) to try to speed things up but I'm not sure what that would entail (e.g. would I need to get a police certificate for Australia, would I need to live there for a certain amount of time before I could interview, etc) or if it would even end up being faster in the long run than just waiting it out for an interview in Montreal. Any experiences on this would be much appreciated!

Do people not look at the spreadsheet. All the wondering when and stuff is right on the sheet you see when they schedule. I'm not getting the confusion.

Not every embassy starts at same time it's all about when an embassy actually send in their calendar. many embassies started last week and they are done.

once you see someone for your country say I got IL and you see DQ that shows you where they are assigning.

F2A is totally different for scheduling even if you are current. I have seen people sit 1 year and were current. F2A has to do with country remember each country only gets a certain amount a year anyway.
