Redneck has a colonoscopy today, Redneck is definitely his momma's son and is a tad dramatic about health stuff... the last 12 hours have been a mix of hysterically funny noises and eye rolling at the drama 🤣

Himself was a little that way as well with the prep. But man, he was a laugh a minute afterwards, giggling and all..

 

He wanted to go eat something right away, and he wanted to go to Hooter's. He started to gab away with the server, and man I thought  he'd lost the plot. Gibberish. Just getting ready to explain to her he wasn't a total lunatic when she got very excited and they had a long conversation in gibberish, which puzzled me no end. In Portuguese.  I forgot it was his first language.

 

Afterwards? He had no recollection at all of it.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

No. Apparently the kid almost hooked it up backwards.  Enough that a relay was zapped and we have to pay to replace it plus her tow.  If her key fob had been in working condition we probably could have made it usable, but such is life.

It was. Born in CT, and his parents moved to Brazil when he was little. Being the social butterfly she was, his mother had nannies. And cooks, and housekeepers, all of whom did not speak English. The parents were away a lot, like all the time, so he didn't hear any either in daily life.

When they moved back to the USA he was old enough to start grade one, but by that time English was beyond him.

We had our last TWO colonoscopies WITHOUT any sedation, macho we man.

Enabled us to walk out of there straight to an extra-large pizza, ravenously ingest we man.

 

Earlier colonoscopy was one-stage prep, violent-yet-effective man.

Later one was 2-stage prep, unnecessarily drawn-out torture man.

Fortunately, torture nearly eliminated by use of ultra-luxurious Pre-Owned Toilet Seat, get yours today man.
