you say no assets but is her name on apartment as an owner?

it seems backward to me that they deny a tourist visa for a parent when we are just LPR (and the person coming could not AOS)

and approve it when we become citizens and the parent could stay

but your mom has to prove she will return to Morocco at the interview

my MIL had a very hard time doing the interview /  she is very afraid of officals and she only speaks Arabic 

she was even nervous about the fingerprinting but incha allah she will now come see the US / just has to wait for me to travel there to bring her here (doesn't read and write so the airport signs and directions would be an issue)

and we are paying for it too

has your mom ever had a visa to visit France  or anyplace out of Morocco?   that does help as it shows she has left and returned before

Medical treatment is a valid purpose of a B-2. Tourism is by far the more common usage.

10/14/17: Biometrics appointment notice received, 10/25/17: Biometrics

1/2/18: EAD + AP approved (no website update), 1/5/18: EAD + AP mailed, 1/8/18: EAD + AP approval notice hardcopies received, 1/10/18: EAD + AP received

9/5/18: Interview scheduled notice, 10/17/18: Interview

10/24/18: Green card produced notice, 10/25/18: Formal approval, 10/31/18: Green card received

K-1:

7/13/2017: Interview: APPROVED!!!

7/19/2017: Visa in hand

I understand that.. I just wanted to make sure to pick the correct visa option on the ds160. As you can see in the screenshot there is 3 options to pick from.

September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
