October filer here- I haven’t even received an interview notice both before or after the pandemic.

Have started to call them every few days to try and get movement on my application. They admitted our application was taking longer than it should, but unfortunately all they can do is “request the office to look into it”. It’s currently at the national benefits center.

if you call them every few days and get a nice rep they will keep putting the inquiry in. At some point the NBC will move my application. It’s agitating seeing how bad our government operates.

Have you received any updates since June?

So we just had our interview in Mt. Laurel, NJ.

Interview was on time and the officer was really nice. I'm surprised how easy everything was. She went over the I-485 with me and the yes/no questions and then went over the I-130 with my husband. She took 3 or 4 pictures and then asked how we met and if there was anything we would like to say about our relationship. She also asked for any new documents and said that she would approve it today or tomorrow. 15 minutes later I checked the website and it said ''New card is being produced''.

Awesome for those of you that have interviews scheduled. We filed in October and haven’t had an update in over 9 months. Biometrics were completed at the beginning of January. Every time we call they just say “It’s within the timeframe” it’s so frustrating I start yelling because the timeframe has extended since we filed and I point out how useless the timeframe is if they can just extend it at will and claim we’re still bound by the new time frame. We’ve officially given up hope that we will get the card anytime soon and come to the realization we’re on the 2-3 year path.

Wanted to update here as well even though I only updated the DC field office thread. PD August 2019.

I am a November 2019 filer. EB3. Wife and I applied together. Original interviews were set for April and cancelled thanks to Covid. Then EB3 retrogressed. Case got transferred back to Texas, then NBC. Called them last month and they said for me to wait until field offices open for 90 days (October 27th) before I should call again. Anyways on the 20th of this month we received letters saying case approved and we'll have cards in our hands in three weeks. Less than a week later we had our physical green cards.

USCIS's website however still showed 'case transferred' but that finally got updated a couple of days ago. Also my wife's green card arrived 3 days after mine for some reason.

Glad this is over for now!

L1-B & L2 to AOS (EB3 skilled)

Northern Virginia (DC Office)

22nd November 2019: NOA1 received

18th December 2019: Biometrics completed

23rd December 2019: Transferred to NBC

28th February 2020: Ready for interview

3rd March 2020: i-797C stating interview scheduled for April 7th

<--- Interviews cancelled due to Covid --->

20th October 2020 - i-797C stating permanent residence approved (Welcome to the United States of America)

31st October 2020 - Both green cards in hand!
