Hello! So my fiancé and I passed the interview stage at Ghana embassy now we are waiting for his visa via DHL...to help prepare ourselves in advance can someone please walk me through what we need to do to prepare for the I-485 also is it necessary to remove the traveling what have you if my fiancé does not plan to leave the country again for next few years?

i know the process from getting married within 90 days and all but I just want a brief walk through of the I-485 part

Are you asking about the Advance Parole?

 

Your fiancé can still apply for the I-131, Application for Travel Document (Advance Parole) even without concrete travel plans.

 Go to the AOS forum look in the November  2019 AOS filers and there is a checklist there everything you need to know is there and more. Also try a forum with couples in it November just started but also try September (my group) or October any group basically and read and learn.


4 years, 11 months, 2 weeks and 3 days

Citizenship Complete!
