Has anyone file a K1 visa petition for a Lebanese fiancé? If so, how long did your process take? ☺️

It's a two step process.   Petition approval and Visa application.   The petition approval is not country dependent and similar for everyone

YMMV

AP will be the unknown.

Run of the mill K1 visas are taking anywhere from 12-18 months, that is without any complications, RFEs, AP,  etc. When you add into the equation that the beneficiary is from a Middle East or North African (MENA) country, all bets are off. As previously mentioned Administrative Processing (AP) at the embassy/consulate is typically long and protracted likely due to exhaustive background checks, and vetting processing. There is no formula or set pattern for this AP, some folks experience years of being stuck in AP if coming from a MENA country. Check in at the MENA Regional Forum for more information about processing times. https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/97-middle-east-and-north-africa/

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Run of the mill k1s are not taking 12 to 18 months.  More like 8 to 9.

Awesome! I hope our process doesn’t take much longer than that!
