USCIS Case Status Not Working?

Hey everyone, so I've been on the USCIS case status website for over a week (got noa1 7/16/19) and my case said it had been received but no updates. I decided to just do a live chat on the USCIS contact service website and found out that I had been approved! Not sure if anyone is also having this issue where their actual status is not showing up but you can contact USCIS and they'll let you know the status.

it will say received until you get your NOA2, no changes

I have my NOA2. Came in the mail last Friday. On the website, it still says received and the last update was in July.

You must be new to USCIS. The online case status is notoriously known to be unreliable and full of bugs. One of my very very old H1B cases has been “received” for more than one decade. The paper notice is what official.

Just kidding, USCIS only came to existence after 9/11 and the Homeland Security Act ...

It seems improbable that INS was better at this, tho ...

We just got our NOA2 end of August. After 8 months of 'received' I went back to check the status and my case number had disappeared the screen was blank, but only the part where it was supposed to show a message either received, approved etc....then i did a little inquiry online and a few people said that it means that they are working on the case and you will be approved soon. I waited another week with the same error notice too...it was blank at first then after a week there was an error notice as if the case status didn't work, so anyways then the day after or so I got an approval letter in mail! So if someone is having glitches to their case number around the time it is supposed to be approved, be advised that it means you are being approved. Even after getting the hardcopy letter, our case showed as 'received' so it went back to it's old way lol but about 3 weeks after, it was updated saying that the case has been moved to the state dept.
