Hey .... when was ur last change date ? U did had an answer to ur inquiry the other day so fingers cross it’s approval ..... hope I get mine soon too 🙏

@danielba thanks and good luck 🍀

Hi Vcgy, thanks for asking!

Date change was today June 1st. Yes, you are correct, I did get that "standard" answer when I submitted the Out of normal processing time.

I guess if my case still at TSC then the approval should be "imminent" :)

Hopping you also get your approval and start stressing out about next step. We are getting "bored" of stressing about the same thing ;)

Best wishes/regards!

Thank you! I'm sorry to hear you are stuck with your fees. We didn't have any issues when we paid. I hope they process your payment soon.

I'm here for you if you have any questions :) I'm not an expert but it seems I did it right.

Thank you so much! That’s very sweet of you and much appreciated! 😊

Yeah, it’s annoying - but at least the IV fee was processed so I’m thinking of just finishing the Ds-260 and Civil documents and then prep the documents for the AOS and upload as soon as the system error is resolved 😃

Hopefully you get your approval soon after this date change. Did you have any other date change before this?

Having a meet and greet is always a good idea, great opportunity to share our experiences, no need to wait until approval :)

i tried to submit normal processing time inquiry  it wont let me do it its saying we are within the normal processing time what's the problem?

We had the same problem (currently in Texas SC, transferred from Nebraska SC, pd 10/2/19) - I spoke with someone on the ask emma live chat on Friday and they tried to say that the processing times/priority dates listed are incorrect (by something ridiculous like 15+ months). Seems a bit hard to believe as there are people with later dates that had no problem applying for an inquiry. Live chatted with someone different today and they said we would have to call to inquire about this issue. Calling tomorrow, if I find out anything I will let you know :)

Wow, that is awesome! Congratulations! That was sooo quick 😃😃😃

We’re currently stuck with the AOS fee. There seems to be a system error and our payment was processed but only the IV fee shows as paid 😩 Supposedly it’s a common issue and can take up to two weeks or more to be resolved! I just hope they fix this soon - else I can’t upload AOS docs 😔

Yeah, I'm wondering if mine are doing the same. Both say processing but were already taken out of my account. It's been 3 days now, so hoping in the next few days it will be sorted out.

Hi,

I think it's different for every country but hope this is helpful:

  • We paid the fees using a debit card.
  • We filed the DS-260 electronically - it was super easy.
  • We only filed the I-864EZ since we were eligible to present that one - the 3 "yeses".
  • We uploaded the IRS for 2016, 2017, 2018 and for 2019 I think we used the 1040 since the IRS Transcripts were not available yet.
  • Under the "Additional Documents" we uploaded Earn Statements (3 months) and the W2 for 2019.
  • For the Civil Documents Part we uploaded: one picture of my passport, 1 passport picture type (of the beneficiary),  copy of my birth certificate and copy of our marriage certificate.
  • We didn't upload a Police Certificate due to covid closures and we added a note saying we will present the certificate the day of my interview.
  • We were told that we don't require translations for the NVC stage but we added the translations under the "Additional Documentation Part" we had from the USCIS stage just in case.

Good luck with your process!

Did you guys submit the Public Charge Questionnaire (Form DS-5540), or are you just going to bring that to the interview?

I didn't know about the DS-5540 until yesterday and we didn't submit it.

I was reading about this questionnaire yesterday and I'm not sure if we have to present it or not. I guess we will present it to the interview if needed. I was taking a look at it and all the information they request seems super confusing. It seems they ask for IRS transcripts for Federal Tax Return but I'm not even in the US.

As far as I know, this needs to be filled out by everyone that has their interview after February 20, 2020.
It is used for everyone applying for a greencard which includes people adjusting status from work visas, which is why there is the tax questions as these people would have filed taxes in the US.

For us it's a simple "No" to the question "Did you file a Federal tax return?".
