Oh wow! How annoying! Man this process takes forever

I know! It's really ticking me off! 😒
At least there aren't too many people immigrating to the US from Switzerland, so there really should be no waiting line once the embassy reopens 😊🙏

Hello B&C2017, Thank you so much for your prompt and detailed feedback as usual.

Man, that sucks! Hope their IT folks can fix this issue.

Best Regards!

Yeah, me too! Supposedly once the have the proof of payment it's an easy one to change the status for the IT department. The question is how long it will take until this is done.

Me too! I bet it'll be at least July. I don't think they reopen general visa services only for spouses of US citizens. So I'm assuming it'll be back open once the travel restrictions have been lifted.

Hi all, my US wife filed I130 on 10/10/2019 with Texas SC, NOA 1 was received on 10/15/2019.

Im a U.K. citizen so filing from abroad.

since the NOA1 I’ve had 2 in process dates on my USCIS page, one on March 3rd 2020 and one on April 7th

ive tried the outside of normal time line form, which I am for Texas and received the standard reply... Not outside of normal time line.

Has anyone had any similar experience who can please offer advice??

many thanks and good luck to all at this difficult time.

Hey! My husband and I are in almost the same exact situation. He’s a U.K. citizen and our pd (the date on the noa1) was October 2nd. We were transferred to Texas in February and got the same message when we tried to file for out of processing time inquiry.
What you (or your wife) can do is call the uscis phone number (1-800-375-5283). You will need to have your case number handy, as well as name, address, and date of birth of the US citizen. To get through the automated menu quicker, you can press 1, 1, 2, 2.  Just explain the situation as you did in your post and they should offer to transfer you to a tier 2 representative. If they do not offer, ask to be transferred. These people seem to have access to more information and can file an inquiry for you over the phone.
I was told by the Tier 2 officer that I spoke to that we should expect to hear from someone within 15 days. He was also able to tell me what was currently happening with our application (currently going through background checks) and what to do if we don’t hear back from them within the time frame.
I hope this helps! Best of luck to you :)

I did some digging around from recent approval data in the forum here. Most(I would say 90%) IOE approvals get NVC letter same day or next day, but it's weird and frustrating some of us are left behind, I wonder why. Calling NVC and/or USCIS is pointless, they just point to the 45day and 90day waiting period.

I know! I have IOE as well. But I’m still waiting it’s been 20 days now. I called every week and I get the same answer. It’s frustrating.

Correct me if im wrong but i believe date changes only happen to i130 forms that were filed online. I know about 5 people who never had date changes and there forms were approved and the reason they didnt had date changes is because they mailed there i130 form and did not file online
