Our case number does start with IoE! I guess I didn’t consider the fact that this is all digital, I keep imagining physical stacks of applications that stretch for miles 😂

how did you know that you were transferred if you didn’t receive a notice?
I’ve seen other people on here use “PD” but I’m not sure what it stands for.

Hahaha! Yes, it's all digital now 🙂

We asked the Emma Live Chat about our case status and it told us, that our case is in Texas (since we started out in Nebraska, we knew we were transferred).

PD is priority date. It is listed in your first acceptance letter 🙂

Oh, okay! We hadn’t even thought to use that service as we had assumed that we would be notified of any changes. Emma live chat said we were in Texas but on the phone I was told Vermont. Texas seems to be a much better place to be right now, but I’m not sure what to think now!
Our PD is 10/02/19 - thanks for teaching me something new! ☺️

Submit an "outside normal processing times" inquiry online! (or your spouse - whoever is the petitioner 😊)
Link: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
Your case qualifies as the date for case inquiry in Texas is October 31st (see pic below). If you're PD is before October 31st (which yours is), you can submit the inquiry (it's just a few fields of an online form to fill out). Where it asks for the reason you think you qualify, you tell them that your case is past the normal processing time according to the USCIS processing times website. They will respond after a few days with a - what I believe more standardized answer. Our case (and other's cases) were approved within a week after getting this email.

I tried to do this just now and I got an automated message that our application “is currently within the posted processing times” and “an inquiry can not be created at this time”. I guess this confirms that our case is no longer in Texas, despite the information we received in our inbox yesterday. Maybe we are in Vermont afterall, who knows?!
thanks so much for all of your help :)

Hmmmm, strange 🤔

Yes, maybe that is the case. I find it odd, that there are never any accurate information available... I’m sorry - I was hoping this would help you 😔

Why are the approvals slowed down so much this week 😩😫

Well, Monday was Memorial Day, so no one worked. Then the first two days they’re usually not so productive. On Fridays there seem to always be lots of approvals. Crossing my fingers for you guys!

At least most of you guys had date changes i havent had any date changes or any response and my case its been 7 1/2 months and its at Texas Center and its never been transfered

There have been people without date changes who were approved.

Have you submitted an inquiry for case outside normal processing times yet? If you’re still in Texas, you would be eligible.

OMG 😍 thats good to hear people without date changes still being approved i was going to ask that question but you answered it thank you so much. I sumbitted an inquiry 3 weeks ago and they basically said we have had to perform additional review and that my case is still in the current processing time (at that time it was) but now its past the outside normal processing times, i will most likely wait until end of june to submit case inquiry.

Sounds great! Just don’t wait too long - not that they change the date for outside normal processing times, because it just jumped from August to October about a month ago. Not that it’ll go back to August again before you can submit one again. Good luck with everything 🍀😃

Hello Folks,

Just got this email from USCIS in response to my "Outside Normal Processing Times" inquiry:

"We have received your service request and researched the status of your case. We have had to perform additional review and this has caused a delay in processing time. Your case is currently in line for processing and adjudication. Cases are processed in the order in which they were received."

I believe this is a pretty standard answer that have been already mentioned in this forum. Hopping that a decision is made soon.

Best of luck!

Hello Vcgy, Thanks!

An agent sent the inquiry on my behalf on May 18th while we were in a chat.
