Yes received my today, Jan 28,2020 8:30 am. Long wait but almost over.

Do they require a new criminal record as mine expires Jan 17,2020 ???

Congratulation to you Jamesd. As far as I know, it is valid for one year. You are marginally good, but I would get new one as well handy. if they need, you have it on spot and avoid any delay. Best of luck for you!

Your PD is 2018 or 2017? If 2018 is your PD, you are lucky if the final action dare will  remain current in the next few months.

Sorry, my bad. My priority date is July 20,2017

Hello everyone, I'm a F2A 2018 filer, my I-130 got approved in November 2019, and sent all the required docs to NVC in mid January. Now waiting for DQ + interview appointment (in Montreal). It seems the interview queue at Montreal is so long! Based on the waiting time reported here seems averaging at ~8/9months, while I see other embassies in other countries seem faster.

Does anyone know if it's any faster if the petitioner/applicant are Permanent Residents of Canada? Wondering if they give any priority to Canadian citizens / PRs, but I doubt.

Welcome to the group!  To answer your question, I'm actually a US Perm Resident and Canadian citizen (my husband who is the beneficiary is a Canadian citizen) and it def doesn't appear that we're getting any prioritization lol

I think we're all in the same 8-9 month time-frame, unfortunately.  Good luck to you!

My situation is the same as you. I am a Canadian citizen and my husband is a US permanent resident. I have have been documentarily qualified since July 31,2019. So faar, I have not heard anything from NVC. Everytime I call them, I get the same generic answer. I don't know what's going on with Montreal. It has one of the longest wait times. I am hoping and praying for my IL by February.  There is no priority for us as far as I know.
