DQ this morning at 7am, email received from NVC - May 21, exactly 12 hours after submitting all docs!!!

Can't stop smiling! 🙌🤩

Congrats!

So, this was your first time? Or was it a re submission?

I don't get the 12 hours thingii though, you mean to say that you uploaded all documents on the CEAC website and got a DQ after 12 hours?

Wow, this is great. Can't believe this really happened. There are people who have been waiting since 7+ months after submitting docs.

Hopefully everyone gets DQ'ed ASAP too!

First applied on May 22. Today (only 7 days later!) I received a message that they need two documents: proof of assets for me (petitioner) and for the co-sponsor.

It took forever for the messages to load on CEAC but I should be able to resubmit before Monday. I'll keep you all posted as to when I get DQ'd.

USCIS Stage:

  • Nov 12 2019: NOA1 (NSC)
  • Dec 17 2019: I-129f Received
  • May 15 2020: I-130 Approved!

NVC Stage:

  • May 16 2020: Case Created
  • May 16 2020: Fees Paid
  • May 22 2020: Sent IV & AOS Packages
  • May 29 2020: Request for more documents (proof of assets)
  • May 30 2020: Resubmitted NVC documents
  • June 15, 2020: DQ'd!

Yes, it takes multiple attempts for messages to load on CEAC website. Its great that new applicants are getting such quick responses. We had to wait 60 to 90 days for a review.

Good Luck!

Its a good day!  Just got DQ'd today!  I resubmitted my 864 (with original signature)  on 05/14/2020....took 2 weeks for them to review my resubmitted 864 and finally approve!

did you get any message or not?

No. I don't understand the logic behind this. Some are getting approved that submitted later than us and the date is not moving whatsoever. Weird... keeping the finger crossed for a message SOON!

Maybe we should send them a message if they forgot some of us lol
