Thanks, haven't heard anyone falling in AP though. Varies on case to case basis i suppose, any idea of the AP percentage? if there's something fishy, they will find out, clarity & honesty is the way to go.

I have no idea honestly, but out of 6 girls I know, only one girl's husband visa was approved right away at interview time. (All Interviewed in 2019) Rest are still stuck in AP. And one girl who had her interview was approved right away and she flew to US. And the trend here do show that Pakistani males are put in AP.... but, yea every case is different.

Even if the rest of the documents checked out fine, there still needs to be carefull vetting of applicants on security and terrorism inadmissability grounds. That should come as no surprise to anyone, especially in regards to men applicants from around that region.

This is a scary trend, anyway, lets hope for the best and see how it goes.

Ok, I guess this is right that the Presidential Proclamation affects on our cases!

Simply, they pushed us far away until this 60-day suspension is over. Not sure why but this is very unfair! We were in the line earlier, because of this, we have to wait longer.

So potentially we could hope to get our DQ's emails within 10 days or so!

Someone like me is waiting for their wife to come. This proclamation does not make any sense at all!

It is EXCLUDED only for these categories IR2, CR2, IR3, IH3, IR4, IH4 - so yours is also affected.
