We are in the same boat, we sent ours in on May 9th. to NSC and the signed for it on the 10th. I have since learned that it was then sent to California. Why send it to NSC in the first place? I spoke with a woman from USCIS, and she stated that it could take up to 60 days to get the first NOA1. WOW! It just gets a little dishartening when you hear of everyone getting theirs in 10 days. I guess we need to look at the big picture and know that our loved ones will be with us in 6-7 months. Well, good luck to you and all the other May filers, I am sure we will get our long awaited first notice's soon.

Yes, just hang in there. I know it is disheartening and I know what its like to check your online bank account every 10 minutes. :P Yours should be coming soon as it looks like you sent your just days after I sent mine. I have my fingers and toes crossed for you both that you'll receive your NOA1 soon. Keep us updated.

With an exception of those lucky enough to file at VSC, you are looking at at least 3 months before an approval from the CSC. I got my NOA1 on January 29 and my NOA2 on May 24 just to give you an idea. Use the time you are waiting to gather important documents you will need at the interview stage and relax! Against the advice of a friend I drove myself nuts on checking my USCIS case status online! lol Good luck to all of you on your journey!

Sent our petition to TSC and got the NOA1 pretty quick.

I put the check for the fee in a plain white envelope with a label for the fee. I also included in the petition a table of contents. Maybe that helped. Maybe not. Maybe we just got lucky.
