I am keeping an eye on the April filers. As soon as they get through it will be our turn

Our I-129F package was mailed out May 31st.

CSC cashed cheque/issued receipt number June 7th. (The receipt # is the NOA1, right?)

Twiddling our thumbs waiting the six-eight months it'll supposedly take till I set foot in the USA with my K1 Visa.

We hired a lawyer, I wonder if that delays our petition any? The lawyer said we will prolly be approved by Christmas, if not before. Her exact words: "...if not before..." That's comforting...innit?

It is awfully quiet today. No touches, no NOA-2....no nothing so far!!!! Anyway, four more days to go before this week will be over. Prayerfully, there will be more showers of touches / NOA-2.

We have not a hardcopy of NOA1 yet. We filed on May 8. Lately, our case was touched twice (Aug 22 and Aug 23) I do not what think, if the touches are because my NOA1 comes or probably the NOA2? I prefer the second option, it´s better... hahaha

With an exception of those lucky enough to file at VSC, you are looking at at least 3 months before an approval from the CSC. I got my NOA1 on January 29 and my NOA2 on May 24 just to give you an idea. Use the time you are waiting to gather important documents you will need at the interview stage and relax! Against the advice of a friend I drove myself nuts on checking my USCIS case status online! lol Good luck to all of you on your journey!

This helps me out. The CSC received our petition May 2; NOA1 received May 10; and am anxiously awaiting the NOA2...it was disappointing to hear the CSC was having computer difficulties...still hoping for a visa prior to Christmas.

VSC has been taking three-ish months now too.

we were all looking at march filers dancing around now everyone in may has waited 90-115 days

hi guys! my fiance called USCIS last week and we got our case number.

and then, we checked it on-line and it says that they received our docs last June 5 though we sent it May 17 and according to USPS, uscis received it on May18.

So, we are just waiting for the hard copy of the NOA1. And then my fiance called uscis again and they said we just wait for 45 days. We really wonder why is it so long? coz i know for others, they their NOA1 just after 2-3 weeks.

does it mean we will have our NOA2 the longer time? We are so worried...

But I believe.. patience is always a virtue. so, we just wait and see..

It´s the same case with us. We filed on May 8 and no hard copy of the NOA1. Many people are in the same problem, I think it is due to problem with the sistem who print the NOAs... I hope it no cause delays in get our NOA2... Good luck
