Hello

Can I have any good hotel/motel suggestion with parking for interview day ?  (looking for some economic stay, I am gona drive from Toronto to Montreal )

TIA

I stayed at the Best Western on Drummond Street - it's literally a 5 minute walk to the consulate. Not quite as good a deal as the AirBNB @klgck found though!

Yes ma'am, got it in hand less than 45 minutes ago. Still gobsmacked. 😯

Any updates on your end? Ditto @klgck!

Nothing for me 😞 assuming I’ll be here for another weekend 🙄🙄

Aww man, that sucks. I'm sorry you have to wait around, especially with kids in tow. I have a good feeling about next week through. :)

Yes! Finally in administrative processing after checking 10x a day hahah. So exciting that you got your passport, @Thrillhouse! Is it a big package?

Really hoping you get yours soon, @Kacey8361!!!

Congrats! May it make a speedy transit through AP! :)

The package showed up in a Purolator envelope about 10" x 15" big. Inside is a sealed manila envelope (surprisingly heavy!) with another copy of the K1 pink sheet and a big "IMPORTANT - DO NOT OPEN!" notice taped to it. At first I thought that was the only thing in the package and almost had a heart attack, but my passport with the actual visa in it was floating free in the bottom of the envelope. I've been looking at it all afternoon ... I've gotten so used to keeping things on the down-low in case something went wrong that I'm having a hard time convincing myself to finally tell people about it, hahaha.

Oooo wow. Thank god the passport was there, definitely need that haha. I totally feel you! I have been really trying not to talk about it much with people because I have been so afraid something would go wrong or take much longer, and now it doesn't even feel real since I have been in denial for so long hahaha. Now it's realllllly real for you! When do you plan on making the big move?

I'm probably going to move a lot later than most, because I have a bunch of work and financial stuff to wrap up before I go. I really hope it's a mild winter, because we're planning to head out the second week of March -- Mr. Thrillhouse will fly up from Denver, then we'll grab a small U-Haul, cross at Houlton, Maine, and test our relationship with a week-long journey across the continent! If we survive that, April 20th is the big day ... and yes, I know it's 4/20, but that's the only date that worked. 🤣

That's awesome! Great planning on your part. That will be a very loooong but very fun trip. Hahaha that's funny. So excited for you both :)
