TOURIST VISA FOR FAMILY MEMBERS (vacation/recreation)

can anyone explain the process of obtaining a visitors visa to me? my husband’s family doesn’t really want to live here but would like the opportunity to visit us and our little one.

 

also when you get the visa, is it a one time visa or is it for whenever you want to visit?

 

if it helps any to know what country, they are from the Dominican Republic.

They will apply for a tourist visa based on their own circumstances.

All the information will be on the local Consulate web site, basically they complete the application, pay the fee and go to the interview.

Each family member fills out a DS160, pay the $160 non-refundable fee, and attend the interview. If approved, they may be granted a single-entry or multiple-entry visa depending on the discretion of the interviewing officer.  Check out my signature below for my parents' successful B2 application.
