  1. Hi, I'm 23 yrs old and currently looking after my niece (US citizen) here in the PH. My sister (kid's mom) is visiting on the month of MAY to get her kid back to USA. I looked after her daughter 3 yrs of age for almost a year now, my sister was in US Military training. I, on the other hand, applied for a University in Canada for September 2020 school year and currently my agency is working on getting an admission. She wanted me to travel with them back to USA around the month of MAY 2020 because she was scared that if they leave me here PH there might be a negative impact on the kid as she got emotionally attached to me already and for time being they wanted me to be there when they will slowly take her over. They are willing to pay for everything and they want me to start applying now but have no idea. About my sister: She and husband has their own house US citizen Works in US military Willing to provide everything (finances and documents) About me: Medical Technologist ( licensed) Graduated 2018 Currently applying for Canada Student Visa for September 2020 (Health Information Management) I also have Admission for Business Ad in SAIT Canada intake September 2020 but not yet enrolled ( can i use the admission letter from the university?) Any Idea on how will I get Visitors Visa on my case. Thank you very much!!!
  2. Hello, My brother who is on B1/B2 visa currently in states would like to join a community college. My questions are: Can he obtain a I-20? Can he simply stay here and start studying without going out of US and obtain F1 visa? Is change of status legally allowed from B1/B2 to F1? Thank you.
  3. Hi everyone, My Australian boyfriend and I have went through quite a bit of bad news recently. He has visited America before through an ESTA, but last week, he had an interview for a B1B2 visa, which was denied. After the B1B2's denial, he got notified that he needed to reapply for an ESTA, and after doing so, he was also denied for the ESTA. In his past visits to America, he had never overstayed or caused any problems, so his visa denials were very shocking and confusing for us. At this point, we have no idea where to go from here. He's kind of resigned to the fact that he won't be able to get an ESTA. I'm not financially stable/independent enough to sponsor him on a K-1 or CR-1, so that's off the table. If he applies for a B2 now, what can we do and what should he mention that would help get it approved? Is there another type of visa that could potentially work in this case? Also, would the consulate be able to access the notes from his denied interview? Thanks.
  4. can anyone explain the process of obtaining a visitors visa to me? my husband’s family doesn’t really want to live here but would like the opportunity to visit us and our little one. also when you get the visa, is it a one time visa or is it for whenever you want to visit? if it helps any to know what country, they are from the Dominican Republic. thank you in advance!!
  5. I am a US green card holder and my wife is an American citizen. I am currently applying for my parents' mutiple entry US visas; they are retired and have lived in Dubai for over 40 years now and do not have a property or bank account in Pakistan or Dubai. I have sponsored them for more than 7 years now and they both have residency visas. I have written a letter to support 'ties to their home country' which includes all the details about how long they've lived here in Dubai for and I have also confirmed that when I move to the United States with my wife they will move to Pakistan and I will take care of their expenses and accommodation. I will be submitting my and my wife's salary certificate along with copies of our bank statements. Additionally, we will be staying at my Father in law's place and he has also issued an invitation letter which is stamped by a licensed solicitor in the US. Do you think this is good enough? Any advice will be extremely helpful Thanks a lot in advance
