Hello all, this is my first time writing in this forum. I was searching if there were any April 2023 filers, but couldn't find any. If there's one. please feel free to close this and direct me to it so we don't duplicate topics. I submitted in 28th of April 2023 and got a text that it was received on the 1st of May. Still waiting for the mail and so far no updates yet. I am new to this so lets se what happens next :). I know this would be a long journey so it would be great to not have to go through it alone!

Hello, I have traveled from Canada to Usa on Indian passport with USA tourist visa and while being in USA, I got my Canadian citizenship oath taken and have to apply for Canadian passport which I will be getting soon in USA. the question is how can I update my i94 with the new passport once I receive my Canadian passport while not leaving the country? I know I can go back to Canada and come back to USA on Canadian passport that will update my I94 at the port of entry. I am looking for option if I can do it while am in Country. Once I have Canadian passport issued, I will have to surrender my Indian Passport/Citizenship so if I will be flying back how the USA gov will know that I have entered on Indian passport and leaving the country on Canadian passport if I have to leave the country to update I94. Thank you in advance.

Hello, I have enter USA on tourist visa (B1\B2) in 2014 (Valid till 2024) and did status change to student visa (F1) got approved (No stamp on passport) inland I was in USA till 2018 on Student visa (F1). Then I moved to Canada (in 2018) got married to Canadian citizen. Currently having Indian citizenship and Canadian PR. The question is these November 2022 my wife's cousin getting married in USA and they have invited us for wedding can I still re enter USA on tourist visa (B1\B2 as its valid till 2024) or I need to re apply for new tourist visa because of change of status inland to student (F1) and not having stamp on passport before leaving USA? If yes tourist visa (B1\B2) stamped on passport still valid, Speaking practically will the immigration officer will let me enter the USA or not as I previously enter USA on same status (B2) and change of mind to student (F1) he/she can deport me and bard me from re entering? (I will have my wife (Canadian citizen) traveling with me and will have return ticket for both of us) Thank you.

Hi there, I got on offer to develop and work on a course for a US company as an instructor. Most of the work would be conducted here in Canada (developing the course, etc). I will however have to go to the US for 2 days to have the course filmed. This gig is paid but there is an option for them to pay me solely for the work I conduct here in Canada rather than the presentation I do in the US. Which option do you think is best suited for my case? Thanks!

My parents are divorced and soon my father wants to apply for tourists visas for him and my two siblings who are under 18 (I am over 18 i am aware i have to do the application on my own). As a result of the divorce (which happened in 2016) he was granted full custody of me, and my mother got custody of my two siblings. However, they spend most of their time with my dad and I and even live at our house since my mother is always 'busy'. My question is, what type of documentation would he need to provide regarding the divorce. If he applies for tourist visas for my younger sibling would he need some sort of letter from my mother giving her permission for this to happen? Would he need to carry his divorce papers? Any information would be appreciated, thank you.
