Time for adjustment

Hello everyone

My husband and I got married already once we got to the us. How long do we have in order to submitted the adjustment for green card paper work ?

Your visa is good for 90 days.  After that you are out of status until you file AOS.

But how kind do I have to file the AOS?

Your visa has been used.  You have 90 days from the arrival in the US to marry AND file for adjustment of status.  After 90days inside the US, your I-94 will expire, and you will be out of status and subject to deportation.  When you file your I-485, you will be granted authorized stay until the I-485 is adjudicated.

You should file it as soon as you can after you are married.   The K1 only give you legal status in the US for 90 days.

Can't tell where you live, or your exact spot in your immigration journey as that your timeline is empty. It helps everyone that uses the forum.
