I can't figure out if the initial pressure is on purpose or not. They said they did it this way to make it less stressful, but I'd rather be thrown out into the field in the swing of it than being constantly evaluated for weeks on end whilst learning a bunch of new things.

This sounds like good training for an entry-level position in the POTS industry, be sure to get good evaluation Nola-B. ma'am.

Why, so they can all conspire against me? 

If you remember me complaining a few years ago, my wife never left home. Her siblings are more important to her than her kids. At least, that's how I perceive it. 

 

Now, I used to like my in-laws a lot. But remember our trip to Malaysia a few years back? And my in-laws were either afraid to show affection to my daughter for fear of pissing off little Gump? Or, they  just simply showed favoritism towards little Gump. 

 

Now, no doubt in my mind that they know who the leader of the pack is. But I keep thinking, why am I in a rush to bring them back here, just so they can ignore my kids? And when I'm fighting with my wife, who's side are they on? And I'm the one that's going to end up providing room and board.

To add, my brother in law, if you remember, the kid who said to me and my buddy, "Malaysia is not so bad". You know, the kid who at the time, has never been in another country. The kid whom I told that he has never experienced freedom and liberty. Nice enough kid, but stupid...

 

Anyway, he seems to be in no hurry either. I sent him an email asking him to start looking in to a Malaysian police certificate. A week later, my wife ask him about it. He said that he hasn't looked at the email yet. Oh very nice. My in-laws have 2 grandkids that they've never seen. A daughter whom they haven't seen in a decade. And this guy is in no hurry to read an email.
