I got an update that my case was approved and my new card was being produced. Here is my timeline:

 

application received by USCIS- 4/12/18

(California) 

NOA- 5/23/18

 

after this I heard nothing until February of 2019 when they sent me a letter saying they were going to reuse my fingerprints and that a biometrics appointment was not needed. 

 

3/7/19- transferred my case from California to Nebraska 

 

5/17/19- I was trying to schedule an infopass because my 1 year extension letter was about to expire. I found out that my local office (Orlando) no longer accepts infopass appointments. I called the USCIS and they told me I won’t qualify for an infopass because my case was approved and a new card is being produced! 

 

This forum is what has kept me sane during this long and frustrating process. I appreciate all the support. Good luck to everyone else!

received our new cards today in the mail. so glad we don't have to deal with USCIS in 10 years!

Vermont filer! Received a letter last Friday (10) or Saturday (11) - not sure as didn't check the mail until Monday haha. Letter stated I was approved and the new green card was being produced. Got the new green card in the mail today! Finally ... what a wait.

About 22% of the CSC applicants have been approved and 52% of the cases transferred to Nebraska have been approved. Hopefully we will all be approved this week lol

wow the spreadsheet looks good. Congratulations to all the approvals and best wishes for us who are waiting. Hopefully, they will work on our cases

We mailed my wife's packet on 4/26/2018 and got a receipt notice dated 4/30/2018, but the my.uscis website says the case was received on 6/7/2018.  I'm worried that we might be on the June filers timeline even though we filed in April.  Anyone have a similar experience?

Yeah, I think most of the people who applied to California they have this situation. Mine also same, Sent Apr 2018 last week and received end of Apr. But case saying end of May received .

Hi I got this usps notification today I won’t be able to check my mail today until 6pm.  I checked the app, the account and check my status and my case still says the fingerprint was completed.

Did you re-fingerprint?

 

This does not have the bar code in the end - so it’s def NOT the biometric notice. It’s some other letter Approval/ RFE?

I hope it is the approval notice, it looks like it is printed on the green hard sheets, I am not sure how the RFE letter looks like. Are they printed on regular sheets or this "official" sheet. I have been preparing for an RFE but I really hope is not one.

Thank you! I will as soon as I get my hands on that letter. No, they only sent a fingerprint waiver.

So I had to renew my driving license yesterday using my 18month extension letter and expired green card.  Everything was fine until they present you with your license which is only valid until December this year, thats when the extension letter expires, stating you really need to get that letter renewed.  🤬 like I dont know that!!

 

So in all, I have had 4 driving licenses here each costing $24 each and another to renew by the end of the year.  This is just plain stupid.  

 

VSC April 2018 filer transferred to TSC March 2019 and still nothing
