We recently received an RFE requesting an intent to marry from me the beneficiary. My question here is I’ve been reading a lot of threads where they say they’ve sent both a letter from the petitioner and the beneficiary, these threads are a bit old though. The letter we received only mentions me the beneficiary to send in the statement. Should I have sent both letters? Just need a little reassurance.

In the original I-129f petition, there should be a letter of intent from both the petitioner and the beneficiary.

Come interview phase at the embassy, you both will again supply "updated" copies to the embassy also.

Congratulations! Another little question what where the dates from the time you received RFE to approval? I’ve heard something about premium processing did you utilize that ?

If you read the USCIS instructions on filling out the petition, it requires both petitioner and beneficiary to be able and willing to marry each other.  You will both need to provide such letters.

Yeah , I think he must’ve put his in and I just never did otherwise I’m sure they would’ve requested both.  Thank you
