Hello All,

I want to ask and make sure, i got my notification if my petition is Ready for interview on March 22,2019. But until now i don't get any email from US embassy for packet 3. What should i do? Should we just wait for their email or we can schedule the interview without waiting the P3 email?

Thank you

Has your fiance been contacted by the embassy yet? He's the one that will first be contacted, and will be asked to confirm a) the petition and b) your contact info. You should then expect to be contacted by the embassy. At least that's how Jakarta has previously done it.

Also, have you done the medical yet? You'll have to do that before the interview as well. I think you'll need your case # in order to set that up though.

Sometimes ready means the USEM have receive the package but maybe still not open the package or you just on another line. usually a week or at least 2 weeks, USEM will contact the petitioner by email to confirm about benneficiary data (email and mail address). Based on that confirmation, USEM will email you the P3.

Good Luck

you need the notification from embassy with names of drs for interview as you need to take the letter to dr

they do most now by email (that is the packet)

you will also do criminal report at that time

the medical exam is what the visa time is for travel to US

you have to come here within 6 months of the medical so don't do to far ahead of interview

Hi @Rabia saqib,

I think each embassy has their own rules about it, better you go to your regional sub forum to have better opinion.

That isn't required for Indonesians (except if they've previously lived outside Indonesia).

Here is the P3 letter that someone shared with me for your embassy. Maybe you'll find your answer there. Also, you should be over in the sub-forum for your region/country. Go up to the blue ribbon, select "Forums", then scroll down 3/4 of the page and find your sub-forum for your country/region. Begin asking questions of others who are going through the same embassy as you.

Starting 1/2019 Indonesia requires the Tax Transcript and not the 1040.

How does the fiancee confirm the petition?

As yuni_yuni said, by e-mail, but that's Jakarta. I don't know if that is the case everywhere or just Indonesia.
