anyone who has been approved within last 2 weeks have you gotten your NOA2s?

Anyone who knows that they have been approved (no matter how do you know that) have you called NVC to find out if they have received you approved petition? if you have called, have they received it?

We were approved on 05/03 and still haven't received my NOA2 in the mail. I did call the NVC, gave them my receipt # and they found us in their system. They also gave our petition a case number but I still haven't received our choice of agent nor the AOS bill.

Same here, approved May 16th, called them last night (seems to be the best time), no info on the case yet. The gal on the other end said, it may take 90 days... yeah right. From what I have seen with other recent approvals, its been taking anywhere from 1 to 4 weeks for the NVC to receive the approval, no rhyme or reason here. I guess they expect you to just suck it up and wait. I for one have made up my mind to call them every two days.

Same here, still no NOA2 hard copy, good news is I don't think we actually need it. We've already sent our packet three back to our embassy and nothing they've sent us ever mentions needing any of the NOA's.

I was approved on May 18th Received NOA's in mail on May 22nd. Called NVC and they donot have my file yet. I'll try to call today.

I- 129-F approved May 11 ( called NVC to find out that info ), case received at NVC May 21st, still no e mail, hard copy NOA-2 , nothing saying we are approved. But we are and have a new case number.

We approved on 5/16 & recv'd the NOA2 on the 21st. Also cld NVC was told our case was recv'd but a case # haven't been assigned (takes up to 90 days). I usually call every night before I go to sleep.

A woman at CSC told me on May 23rd that I was approved on May 16th. The website isn't updated to reflect that, and I have gotten my NOA2 in the mail. On May 25th I called NVC, and they didn't have my case yet.

I'll give it a few more days, and call again.

I also had a good with the in-district aide to my Congressman who deals with immigration issues -- mostly to give her my opinion on the current immigration bill and its proposed limitations on family-based immigration. (I don't like it -- is that surprising? It helped that she says the Congressman agrees with me. Maybe we'll get those provisions taken out or defeat the entire bill.) She asked me to call her back later if I wanted her to make inquiries on my behalf. We'll see if I feel a need to do that.

We were approved on May 21 (email), and got the NOA2 hardcopies (I-130 & I-129F) on May 25. To date, no idea yet if NVC has our approved petitions.

I tried to call (NVC trunkline-1-2) , but I seem to have a hard time getting into the automated system. Anybody knows how to do it, my case no. starts with MSC.

K3's are not entered into the automated system so you have to speak to a live person to ask. Have your receipt number ready and call 603-334-0700, press 1 for english then press 5 for the operator. You may find out after you call that it's already passed through and on its way to your embassy. That's what we were told anyways, petitions seem to pass straight through the nvc like a mail-forwarder.

I was approved on the 10th, CSC mail out my case on the 21st (after I called on the 20th!) and the NVC revieved my file on the 22nd. I know this because I emailed. When I called, they said they have not revieved it yet.

However, I also have a few phone conversations with thee local aide to immigration issues and he had a heart-to-heart with the head of CSC. They are seriously back-logged and are not currently mailing NOA2s AT ALL. the will start up again next week, and I was told to expect mine sometime mid-June. The aide, of course, told me that I was lucky to have my petition approved in under 180 days at all. He also said that he is quite familiar with this board, so I expect that there are a lot of congressional "lurkers" around....

But, I had emailed the NVC on the 20th, and I got a response YESTERDAY saying that they had recieved my case on the 22nd. I have a State Dept # and everything, so I'm happy. Back on track to only having a 10 month wait till I get to see my wife! (We'll all look back on this and laugh, right???? )

I received an email from NVC just now, in reply to my query. As of May 26, they have not received my approved petition yet. :crying: :crying: :crying: I really hope that the 90 days NVC waiting period will not all be consumed up.
