redacting "What's App" conversations

Personally, I would choose selective inclusion over obvious redacting.......The CO can choose to ask questions like "Why have you redacted this section"?    All you need is a few conversations over the time of your relationship (if you choose to include them).  You don't need every conversation you have had with your fiance...good luck.

Exactly!

 

Some Embassies are tough, I dont know if the OPs Embassy was posted and is known as a tough one or not but regardless the advice is good for everybody. Redacting means that you are directly telling the Officer there is stuff you said that you don't want them to know.

Varies by embassy/consulate, but many do allow this. If not, they can give their passport to the beneficiary as evidence of being there with them.

I was planning on going to my spouse's country AFTER her interview.  

 

So...do you think i should change plans?  Is being there with her major evidence of our legitimate relationship?

If your embassy permits it, it's generally better to be there IMO. But it's by no means a requirement either. Use your best judgement if you think it is necessary/helpful in your case.

What we did was took 1 screen shot a week of WhatsApp conversations then put 4 on a page so each page = 1 month. We tried to screenshot conversations about current events, families, future plans etc. 

 

During my husband interview they actually pulled up these and asked him about a couple of conversations we had previously had. I dont think they would have done this with 100+ pages of text 

What paper you use to add the 4 screenshots. Do you use the app screenshots of the text logs .
