Wife approved and passport in her hands but USCIS keeps sending emails

My wife had her interview a month ago and was approved.  She had her oath ceremony and now has her US passport in her hands.   USCIS keeps sending emails saying there is no update to her case.  I assume this is just an automatically generated email but wanted to see if any other recent citizens experience the same thing.  Any idea when the emails will stop?

Thanks and may God bless

Never happened to me.

Did she go go to the SSA to get a new SS card. If so, and if the new card arrived, then this means the SSA verified her citizenship status with USCIS and thus she is a citizen in the USCIS database.

USCIS email system is broken as hell. Tell her to log in to her account and unsubscribe to emails.

I had my roc approved a year ago and I still get emails that USCIS is reviewing my case.

Yep, very normal. I naturalized in early September last year and got my passport (and SSN status change) in soon after, I still get the emails. e.g. "There have been no updates on your case." Although the Egov Status website shows that my naturalization certificate has already been issued.

Citizenship Journey:

(Month 1)-   N-400 sent: 12/20/17

(Month 2)-   Fingerprints: 01/11/18

(Month 8)-   Interview: 07/30/18

(Month 9)-   Oath Ceremony: 08/23/18

Officially a U.S. Citizen!
