I am reading a lot that the petitioner is either being called or is going into the interview with the spouse. I have read this several times now. I clearly read on the instructions for the interview that only the spouse is allowed in, not the petitioner. I'm speaking in particular about interviews in Amman Jordan. Can anyone she'd some light on this?

It is at the discretion of the Embassy/Consulate. So you have to peruse the Amman Embassy website or email them directly to ask.

The Consulate in my home country does allow the petitioner to attend the interview.

I'm going, just for moral support...and of course because I miss my husband. 🙂 If they let me in or call me in that would be fantastic...but I'm not planning on it.

Well, all you need to do is to email them and ask

I was the petitioner for my husband. I did not attend his interview.  The CO  called me during my  husband's interview to ask me questions.
