Hi everyone

we got approved on January 16th , 2019

we were told our visa would take no longer than two weeks to be sent out

we selected our pick up location

the website we used is https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-ca/iv/

ive noticed there are two websites

one for non immigrants (shows in purple)

and there is one for immigrants (shows in green)

we have been using immigrant visa option for it was the only option for k1 visa

Are we doing this correctly?

Any help would be appreciated

Yup, you need to use the immigrant visa section. Also, if that was wrong you'd never been able to make your interview appointment in the first place, so don't worry about that. Just contact the consulate that approved the visa to see if they can give you an idea of when to receive your visa

We just got an email from the consulate in Montreal stating

This case is currently under review with a consular officer. As soon as the review is complete, the Visa Unit will advise of the next steps in order to continue processing the case.”

our case was approved

why would it still be under review ?

It’s super hard(I’ve been waiting in AP too, so I feel your pain). You will get there. Crossing my fingers it happens soon for you 🤞🏻

Never never and never make any plans until you have your visa in hand.

Probablility of you getting your visa is... slim.
