Event Description

Embassy Review : Hello All!
I have my Appointment yesterday Morning, myself and 2 K2 Applicants (my children). The Process was overall really good and seamless and everyone was very helpful.
We got to our 8:00am Appointment at 7:30 and stood in line. The security let the the 7:30 people first, and then us. The guard was nice and noticed the kids were cold so he let them wait inside which was so lovely of him. Once inside I had a purse with me, that was essentially empty minus paperwork in a folder and my wallet and cellphone. (Kids each brought one small toy). I was able to bring in the purse and I turned off my cell and left it with the guard who gave me a ticket number to pick up.

Next we went into a basement with the group and with up to 19th floor.

Waited until our number was called, which maybe took about 45 mins (wasnt watching the clock that much). They lady who helped us was very helpful and we had all the documents needed.

I went in very prepared with extra documents and 2x phootcopy of everything. I really want to stress to everyone that being over prepared pays off way more than under prepared!

Since I had 3 Applicants (K1, K2, K2) I needed 3 Separate Affidavit of Support for them but only 1 copy of the supporting documents, which I had all ready. Also they took my Custody papers and well as 2 copies (I got the original back ) I was really glad I had all my papers and extras as I really do think it makes this go smoothly and everyone is happy in the end.

After we were done with the paperwork portion we waited to be called for the interview. I would say about 20 mins but again I was not watching the clock, I was kept distracting by my kids .

The man who interviewed us was so nice and personable, also professional. He asked my kids about their toys and asked their ages.
Asked me a couple questions about my fiance : Full Name, Job, Wedding Plans, in the conversation. Went over the Domestic Violence pamphlet and then gave us our Pink paper that said welcome to USA!

My kids were so happy as Was it!

Now just to wait for the VISA to be issued and our passports returned.
Rating : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.

** Not all cases are transfered
