You were able to go into the CFO interview? I thought that wasn’t permitted.

I was waiting patiently outside) No, only the participants are allowed inside.....But, everyone knew I was there) We are talking about the CFO interview in the Philippines. Not the embassy interview. In Manila a fiance or spouse is able to attend the embassy interview with their partner.

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.

Ya I did that back in the day .. only CFO was done at PRISM.  I sat around yakking with the guard and a few others that were waiting outside.  Then we headed off to a late lunch and goofing before heading home.

We did the CFO with all the nuns back in the day at St. Marys.  I did try to enter the CFO at the time, I didn't push it like I would of today.  I rolled down to a Shakeys Pizza and jammed on some PIzza.

What I have seen is there are a few CO who will not allow the husband to join the actual interview, but this seems to be only for married couples. I have witnessed it twice personally

Oh. I'm so sorry. I am afraid of the age difference going to be a problem for me too. Can you share what questions they asked her?

Since when has age differences mattered in Philippines? Sorry to hear about the refusal though, must have been a case of many factors going against you guys, wow. :(

Hang in there I know you two will endure

If a recent email from the embassy can be believed,  I have,  if only for a split second,  halted the return of the petition and they have indicated they will consider additional evidence.   Not getting my hopes up quite yet.  I have purchased Powerball tickets for tonight's drawing

Praying for an approval for you. I hope the next email is requesting the passport back. ^_^ good luck

Nope.  They said they will consider information I provide.  Since I don't have the exact reason for the determination,  they will get everything I can think of
