A friend was coming to visit today on a b2. she has been here twice before without issues. never overstayed. she arrived in Houston at 12.30 today and we haven't heard from her. She missed her connection and a search by the airlines said she wasn't on any other flight from there, including one that returned to her county of origin. Her cell don't work in us so cant call. Her phone was connected briefly to WhatsApp but my messages weren't read or answered.

Im at a loss what you read in there that insinuated she would be illegally immigrating?
her safety and location !

File a police report for a missing person.

Over 40% of the undocumented immigrants in this country are visa overstays.  It's not unheard of for people to disappear when entering the US on visitor visas.

Sounds like she may have been detained by CBP.

is there a way to check that?

most likely not. if she is in CBP custody...she has not entered the country so not even a lawyer could help a B2 visitor in that matter. She could be detained and be turned down to enter the US

No way you can find this out.  Airlines will not tell you whether a passenger was on a flight as that is personal information and is protected.  Something is fishy here.  How do you know that she missed her connection, when you said you have not been able to contact her?  Are you just a "friend," or are you in a relationship with this person?  Maybe this person just changed plans and decided not to visit you right now.

simply put.... you are wrong. yes they will, and they did. but I found her. I even talked with immigration officers at the airport. she was denied entry, but I have yet to find out the reason.

Well at least you found out what happened, and she is safe, although she now has to go back to her home country and that sucks.  I am surprised that anyone can call up an airline and get personal information about someone else's travel plans.  That doesn't seem right to me. Is this the same person you asked about in  your earlier posts?
