For proof like this that just shows evidence of cohabitation, I'd even go with once every 6 months.   That should be more than enough.

Glad I found this topic without creating a new one! Several questions to add on:

The guide states the following:

2. Utility bills, credit card bills, and other types of bills which have both of your names on them. Since many utilities will only put a bill in one person's name, some bills in one name and other bills at the same address but in the other spouse's name serve the same purpose: showing your financial & social lives intermingled.

Can someone clarify the above on whether it's acceptable that the electric bill is mailed to both of us at the household (shows both names and address), but within the bill the actual payee listed is myself only? Both items are on the same paper.

In addition, since we are to file within 3 months - is it worth trying to add the spouse to other utility bills (water, trash, etc) or phone bills and just send 1-2 months worth of copies or not bother at this point?

Thank you in advance!

So based on reading comments on other threads as long as you show financial comingling as a whole, you need not add other person to every utility.

You can pick one utility in your name and the other in your spouse's name and take quarterly report from the beginning of your marriage. USCIS likes to see financial docs spanning whole marriage.

If you have bills in only one spouse name, you can give reason for that in cover letter.

Then , for showing same address, you need to show lease, driving license, letters addressed to same address for both you.

For financial comingling, joint accounts, joinlty owned property or vehicles etc, joint taxes IRS transcripts, shared health insurance, wills etc

Make sure to send all docs spanning 2-3 years, not just last few months to avoid RFE. (Quarterly statements are good)

01/09/2019  Mailed ROC package via FEDEX to Lewisville,Texas

01/11/2019  Package delivered to USCIS office

01/16/2019  Received text message with service center as SRC

01/17/2019  Status on https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ as accepted. Check submitted electronically to my bank. Not cashed yet.

01/18/2019  Check cashed electronically.

02/07/2019  Called USCIS regarding non delivery of receipt . They asked me to call back after 30 days have expired since delivery

02/11/2019  Called USCIS again regarding non delivery of receipt. Mentioned that license will expire along with greencard on 02/28.

The lady filed a request on my behalf so i could schedule infopass.

                        I separately also filed e-request(https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=ndn

by choosing I-751 and other option , before calling USCIS just in case.

02/13/2019 Got callback from USCIS that infopass cannot be scheduled, but they will mail

                       a duplicate notice.

11/08/2019 Biometrics got completed

03/24/2020 Case status got changed to card being produced

I'm glad this topic came up.

All our utility bills are in my husband's name but he was able to add me as an authorized user. Hope that won't cause any issues.
